What Is Love?

A student asks a teacher, ‘’what is love’’?

“The teacher said, in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back. But the rule is: YOU CAN GO THROUGH THEM ONLY ONCE AND CANNOT TURN BACK TO PICK.

The student went to the field, he went through the first row and he saw one big wheat, but he said to himself that there is a bigger and better one after this so he kept on moving. Then he saw another bigger one, bigger than the first one but he said to himself, there would be a bigger one waiting for me.

Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he starts to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw. He then realized that he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted. With much pain, he went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, my dear student, this is love. You keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize the best, you would have missed the person.

The student then asked again, ‘’what is Marriage’’?

The teacher said, in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is, YOU CAN GO THROUGH THEM ONLY ONCE AND CANNOT TURN BACK TO PICK.

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake. After reaching the middle of the field, he picked one medium corn and he felt satisfied with it. With this, he went back to meet the teacher.

The teacher smiled and felt satisfied when he saw him coming back. He sat him down and said; this time you bring back a corn. You checked out for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believed that this is the best one you get, this is marriage.
